In Mat Pilates classes we work on Mobility and Flexibility, as well as Core Strength. These classes can help people overcome and prevent injuries and improve strength.

Sports Massage

Neuromuscular Therapy and Orthopaedic Sports Massage are great services for people who are dealing with various injuries and pain throughout the body. Techniques include Deep Tissue Massage, stretching and Trigger Point Therapy. Neuromuscular therapy reduces chronic pain and improves body posture by selectively loosening tight muscles and connective tissue.

About Me

Hi, I’m Niall. I am originally from Monaghan but having spent 17 years living away, it’s time to move home and bring back all the experience I have built up with me.

I am a runner, a kettlebell enthusiast, a Pilates lover, both Reformer and Mat based, and I really enjoy any kind of training that gets me moving and sweating.

I bring a fun and relaxed atmosphere to my classes and sessions to make the workouts enjoyable and go faster, as I push you to your limits.

Having dealt with my own weight issues when I was younger I enjoy helping people reach their own fitness goals and I believe training should always be enjoyable, even those sessions that half kill you!

My Qualifications

  • Reformer Pilates qualification with Suzie Dodd and Mat Pilates qualification through Profi Fitness, with years of experience teaching and learning.
  • Personal Training qualification with Image Fitness, with 10 years experience working in the industry.
  • Neuromuscular Therapy and Orthopaedic Sports Massage qualifications with National Training Centre Ireland, with over 2 years experience treating clients.

My Approach

  • I believe training should always be fun and enjoyable. If it is not then you won’t stick with it.
  • Client’s should be listened to. If you enjoy a certain type of training over others, I don’t try and force you to do something you won’t enjoy, which in time will lead to excuses for missing sessions.
  • Weight Loss and Fat Loss are two of the main reasons you  might look to train. I help build this into your daily life and make it as easy to follow as possible. Crazy strict diets might work in short term but never in the long term. You should never feel miserable while trying to improve your fitness and your health.

What Is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a full-body, low-impact workout that focuses on strength, flexibility, and control. Unlike traditional Mat Pilates, this method is performed on a specialised piece of equipment called a Reformer. The Reformer consists of a sliding carriage with adjustable springs, pulleys and straps that provide resistance, helping to target muscles more effectively while allowing for a greater range of movement. The added resistance makes exercises challenging yet supportive, ensuring a balanced workout that strengthens and stretches the body.

Reformer Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes.

Can I try Reformer Pilates if I’ve never done Mat Pilates before?

Yes of course you can. Anyone can try Reformer Pilates. You don’t need any previous training experience.

How much are Reformer Pilates classes?

Classes will cost between €20 and €25, depending on which package you choose.

Is there any parking close to the premises?

Yes there is plenty of parking available nearby. There is some limited parking available on the street during early morning classes or late in the evening. Alternatively there is parking available at the new Peace Campus, Mr Price, Lidl and the long term carpark at the back of Flemings.
